The Onyx Shower System is crafted from a premium solid surface material designed for durability, beauty, and long-lasting performance. Each part of the system is made from a carefully engineered blend of materials:

• 63% of the composition is alumina trihydrate (Al₂O₃·3H₂O)—a refined hydrate crystal that’s also the primary ingredient in Corian® and other high-quality solid surface products. This mineral gives the Onyx system its strength, smooth texture, and resistance to wear.

• The remaining 37% is a proprietary polyester resin, uniquely developed by Onyx over the past 30+ years. This custom resin binds the material together, enhancing flexibility, durability, and resistance to moisture and daily use.

The result is a solid, non-porous surface that combines scientific innovation with proven materials—built to last and beautifully made.

This material is then molded to make highly customizable shower bases and walls in five unique finishes. These durable and beautiful shower panels can be finely tailored to the needs of each customer.
